Good morning Spring!
I have just the perfect start to the day. Easy and yummy. My Little-Grandma would make these when I was little. A treat! Plus, she would make me a small cup of coffee, just like a big girl! (It was more like cream & sugar with a splash of coffee)
Start with a slice of bread, I like whole wheat. Cut a hole with a biscuit cutter or just use a glass. ( upside down)
Melt real butter in a pan and place your bread in the melted butter, smells yummy already!
I'm allergic to egg yolks so I just use the whites of two eggs, but one egg works perfect. Crack that egg and put it in the hole! That's the toad!...hehe
Cook on medium heat till done, then flip and finish cooking!
Easy, breezy! Kids love it and it's fast & yummy! XoxO
